Continuing its streak of festival wins, ALL FOR LIBERTY has been awarded Best Independent Feature Film at Southern Appalachian International Film Festival. The award, AFL's ninth, was announced at the fest's gala awards event, October 27, 2010 in Kingsport Tennessee. The feature screened at the fest on October 30.
After premiering in Beijing in the spring of 2009, ALL FOR LIBERTY has won awards at Wordlfest Houston (3 awards), Charleston International Film Festival, Myrtle Beach International Film Festival and the Accolade Competition (3 awards). The action adventure saga is set during the American War for Independence and is distributed by John McLean Media (http://www.johnmcleanmedia.com/).
The Southern Appalachian International Film Festival, (http://www.soapiff.com)/ is a festival screening world-class films within minutes of the Blue Ridge and Smoky Mountains. The purpose of SOAPIFF is to publicly recognize, promote, and preserve the work of independent filmmakers and encourage film production and culture in Southern Appalachia.
