Charleston's Terrace Theatre has booked ALL FOR LIBERTY, for a special presentation starting May 22, 2009. The reknowned independent cinema will screen AFL at its James Island theatre location throughout Memorial Day Week.
The connection with Memorial Day is apt. ALL FOR LIBERTY, directed by Chris Weatherhead, is based on the true history of Captain Henry Felder and tracks the stories of Americans who fought and sacrificed for their new country. Shot mostly in Charleston and the South Carolina Low Country, the film has won seven international film awards, including an Accolade Award for Lead Actor for Clarence Felder who plays his direct 6th generation ancestor.
